Anyone have a favorite mistruth or misinformation that they were taught in school, at any level?
Mine goes back to the 70's and Lancaster, Pennsylvania where we were taught that the 15th President, Buchanan, was absolutely not gay, but had an incestuous relationship with his niece. Recently I spoke with my oldest sister and she still thought that was true.
