One thing that is for sure with Duterte is that he is not interested in becoming rich, neither does he care what others think, he is completely anti religion and is not afraid of the Catholic church, which by the way is very powerful in the Philippines. He is like a small despot doing what he think is right in a very foul and disharmonious way. Crude is what he is.
@Jolanta I don't know. I simply ask a question based on past histories in the area and the very powerful old proven adage that "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely".
I recall there being accusations regarding his children or their partners.

@irascible I doubt that Duterte has the ability or nouse to be able to hypnotise as many people into misbehaving as Adolf did.
