Can you think of any good 'Christmas' verses in the bible, that say the opposite of what we always thought?
....such as Jesus saying... "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34

Separation of Church and State:

John 18:36
Contemporary English Version
Jesus answered, "My kingdom doesn't belong to this world. If it did, my followers would have fought to keep me from being handed over to our leaders. No, my kingdom doesn't belong to this world."

Scientists have determined from descriptions in the buybull and star charts that had Jesus existed, he would have been born in October

I've read the Bible, both NIV and KJV and what most Christian don't know is God forbids the decorations of Christmas trees.
Jeremiah 10:1-25 Hear the word that the Lord speaks to you, O house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: “Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are vanity. A tree from the forest is cut down and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move. Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.”

King James Bible:
"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night."
This is not done in the winter and is one way to know that jebus was NOT born on Dec 25.

It's pretty clear that the date was chosen to allow pagans to convert to christianity and continue their winter solstice traditions. In northern Europe it would have taken a few days to notice that the days were getting longer.
