So what do you people think about this divide in the atheist "community" between PC atheists and freedom of speech atheists? I think that they will never agree over anything except disbelief in God.
I have lots of PC friends even some Mac friends but I'll let you take my free press away from my cold dead hands!
Unless it is just me, it seems that the more moderate PC unbelievers view themselves as agnostic, and the militant 'fuck you religion' types tend to be atheist. I know we endlessly discuss the differences between the two and most atheists are actually agnostic atheists, etc., but that is just my general opinion. It is also interesting for a site named 'Agnostic' there are more folks here that identify as atheist rather than agnostic, as per the results of one of my prior questions.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Used to be there was Atheist, period. We didn't believe in any god, we wanted religion out of all public connection & we believed in peace & unity. Now there are so many branches to it, that Atheism, honestly, has become a joke. Now, when I tell people I'm Atheist, they respond with "Oh, you're one of those crybabies." Then I have to explain to them the difference. I have gotten to where I tell people I am an old school Atheist, since everything has to have sub-labels. Lol.
And I couldn't find an Atheist.com group, so here I am.
Most of us can't even agree on what to eat for dinner... that's just who we are.
LOL
Oh yah, Pizza... I can't imagine anyone disagreeing with that...
Anytime you get a group of people together who believe in the same thing there will be disagreement due to interpretation. Until someone steps up to bring the sides together.
Correct.
