Sounds like any time before the 1980's to me.
Yes it does I was born in 66 and I can remember all my Aunts smoking inside it was the 70’s. My Nan used to smoke in bed !
And the sixties, wonderful, everything was cold and damp especially bathrooms, bedrooms and doctors surgeries, you had to force yourself to eat the food, (plants cooked to tasteless mush, who knows what meat in tins and tasteless white bread) school teachers stood you against the wall and used you as punch bags, (they had to keep warm too) the cars and the plumbing gave you lead poisoning, children were not allowed in libraries, there were only two TV channels, then only after five o'clock at night, to get a phone you had to go on a six month waiting list and produce references from your employers etc., and people thought that in the future people would live in space, but they never imagined mobile phones or home computers let alone the internet.
Yes, that and many other things that we did which we were blissfully unaware of then!
And No Cell Phones... I repeat No Cell Phones... Only Surgeons had Beepers.
I had a beeper since the 1970s...
@sfvpool Drug Dealer Uh? I didn't wanted to bring drugs into it. I knew some jobs that used them but they were few and far between... certainly drug dealer was one.
@GipsyOfNewSpain Ha! No, not a drug dealer, but I was on call 24/7 for a recording studio.
@sfvpool I salute you.... Musical Talent Need Not Wait.
