"My thoughts are with you" and why you like her so much

I work hospice. The card is nice. A personal vist is better. Even from a stranger it helps for patients to know someone, anyone is thinking about them.

Keep it short and positive but not pollyanna. Pick out a memory p you have with them & describe how it made/makes you feel, i.e., " remember when we........on that lovely lak/beach/mountain? I think we had a great time that day/ week/afternoon." Then wrap it up with Best Wishes. 2 or 3 short notes are preferable to one wordy one & then Nothing.

I say no card . Some tasteful flowers like someone here suggested and go in person . The words will come to u when u see her . Don't have to be great words . As long as they reflect honesty and feelings will be alright . My opinion of course .

Write her a letter and reminisce about a few times she did something or said something that you appreciated. Tell her you are glad to have known her and ask if there is anything you can do to help her or your friend.

Buy a few flowers and go visit in person.
