It's interesting when one learns something. Today for instance, while discussing with my cousin over the phone about a child's outbursts and anger, the two are completely different.

You could probably have that conversation a hundred times with a hundred different people and get a hundred different ideas, responses and conclusions.
( My opinion)
The answers are very simple you can take a child within the first years of development and then take an elderly person within their final years of existence and you’ll see surprising similarities.

They’re both experiencing limited control and understanding of their bodies and environments.
As well as limited communication skills.

The child is feeling physical pain from growth and development. They can hear and see but lack the knowledge to communicate with formed words and then add in any sense of abandonment, fear, or frustration from soiling oneself and a child will mostly display some form of negative behavior which since we can’t remember what it was like for us at that stage of development we are usually unable to fully connect and/or grasp what is exactly the source of their behaviors.

And in the elderly adult who has lost significant levels of their sight and hearing which will result in a dramatically lessened ability to communicate as well if they’ve also suffered any form of mental deterioration. Also factor in the similar issues that they would share with the infant such physical pains, feelings of confusion, abandonment and the fear of not knowing themselves or their environment as well as soiling oneself.

But ironically no one diagnosis them as being autistic.
I guess what I’m saying to everyone one is imagine if it were you under those circumstances and knowing that in most cases it’s simply that we don’t when we attempt to determine what’s wrong with a child.
And all we really need is a solution for us and a label for them so that the rest of society won’t blame us for not being able to the problems of an infant or the elderly.

Tantrums? Screaming because of something the child has no control over? Has Autism been suggested? The spectrum is very large....

well, outbursts (which I am sort of prone to which somewhat bothers and depresses me) I shout and scream and curse at someone. Showing anger is sort of a problem for me as I don't fully understand how to properly express my anger or displeasure (chalk it up to a car accident I was in 28 years ago which affected my life as I was 10 at the time).

You wanna why the spectrums large because it’s become a blanket diagnosis.
And you wanna know a secret to preventing that diagnosis?
You simply put your child before everything else.
You physically spend more than 10% of your day making physical and structured contact with your infant.

That way they’ll understand and crave human attention and affection and won’t become feral.
And I already know that most people who believe that autism is the answer also didn’t have the adhd knocked out of them when they was little either.

But I’ve witnessed personally the mental and social development of separate groups of children where the parents were home and awake long enough to feed and maybe their baby and later on their kid had huge mental, emotional and social deficiencies.
And from that came the drugs and therapies.

I’ve witnessed from my own as well as others who spent hours daily bonding solely with their babies and sacrificing their personal time and sleep to do so.
And yes some of our children are spoiled but they’re mentally, emotionally and socially functioning adults no meds no therapy.

Dont quit your day job. It is completely inappropriate to jump to a serious diagnosis based on a single sentence that mentions outbursts by a child. The most likely “diagnosis” is CHILD.
