Her family isn’t angry with those at the border patrol.
The biggest reason for this incident is that the family attempted to come in illegally without first attempting to fully learn Spanish let alone English.

The father mainly understood and spoke a native Guatemalan dialect and Spanish as a second language for which he wasn’t totally competent at.
The medical health form was in English and he couldn’t even comprehend several of the Spanish terms that was used.

So therefore the border patrol officers weren’t aware of any possible health issues with the daughter due to the fathers inability to communicate with them they’re at most the equivalent of an army medic and are not trained in the means of diagnosing medical issues.

They did attempt life saving measures but it was too late and the family has acknowledged this and has requested that a full and independent investigation be performed as well as several leaders of Latin American and U S civil rights communities.

The media is using this tragedy as fodder against this administration and if they actually fucking cared they’d put forth the resources to assist these families in their quest to safely come into our country as well as push for a non governmental oversight committees with field representatives to ensure that we’re not abusing these people.
