I read a cogent, fairly convincing article by a feminist outlining how "Baby, It's Cold Outside" is actually a feminist manifesto, way ahead of its time: the woman in the song lays out all the social stigma that will be heaped upon her--from her parents, neighbors, aunt, etc.--for drinking, smoking, carousing, etc.--and she ultimately decides to hell with them and does what she wants, knowing it comes with a hefty social price-tag.

What have I missed now?

The shamelessness goes on. Goddamn conservatives!

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but those conservatives who are also offended by this need to stand up, or else they are as guilty as the rest. Just like the good cops that don't call out the bad.

I was actually pleasantly surprised on how the huge majority of people said "this is not offensive" and fought for the song to stay on.. (on both sides, liberal and conservative)..
this stuff is what sells papers (ok.. websites now)
