I have heard this many times and for me, it was just another day. My late partner, had left her long time abusive marriage, moved to another part of the world and started to really enjoy life. Other women asked her how she felt about turning 50 and she said it was a new start of her life and she felt wonderful and free.
47 I look back when I was that age, boy was I clueless (even worse than now).

Dont worry about it. Keep cracking on . Nothing much changes except you don’t feel you have to strive to be something that you panicked over when you turned 40. I am 60 and glad I don’t have to do that 30-45 nonsense anymore!

Don't be terrified. I just turned 59 and I LOVE approaching the big 6-oh! I still wear short skirts and skimpy tops (no I won't post a pic, just take my word for it) and I really don't care what people think, I'm enjoying life to the full and will do that until I drop! Not suggesting that you copy my attire (unless you really want to) just my attitude to life if you can.

when you get to 50 its much better. I don't care anymore haha
