Going on a date tomorrow, I'm pretty excited. I was just thinking though, of the irony that many of us are inclined to look for the person who gives us the most powerful feelings of attraction, when in fact what we really need to know is how we'll get along with that person when the feelings are all but gone! lol Oy. We are crazy creatures.

Aside from getting my former mother-in-law loaded on White Russians, the quickest and surest way to ruin the fun and good times is to load them up with expectations in advance.

I actually don’t go by looks as much. I’ve seen some pretty average pictures online but they look WAY better in person.
Occasionally I’ll be slightly disappointed looks-wise when meeting but after a great conversation their looks improve (not just from alcohol!!).
