Glad to have found this site, I met a couple of people recently who told me they were atheist and after having people tell me how I should pray and "look around you there's proof of God" it never sat well with me. Looking to connect with like-minded people in the area.

Have you ever asked those who say "look around you there's proof of God", to simply show you the proof? Anyone can talk about it, now walk your talk.
I also say, if you have proof, present it to the Nobel Prize Committee, clam your Nobel prize and million dollars, present it to the scientific community so it can be tested and verified, rid the world of A-theist once and for all, become the most famous human that has ever existed and probably become a prophet with billions of followers.
