I wonder if this counts as gaslighting.

someone answered a comment of mine with "who cares," i answered that comment with "uh, who cares?" which to anyone with half a brain means i am questioning his "who cares," not asking who cares, myself. later, when i decried his dismissive attitude, he told me i was the one who was dismissive, and quoted my "uh, who cares?" as proof, even taking a screen shot of it! pretending someone else said what you said, just because they repeated it in disbelief, is a kind of gaslighting, isn't it?

for the record, even if that behavior isn't technically gaslighting, it is rude and is an attempt at some kind of deception, and it impelled me to block the guy. it may as WELL be gaslighting. i don't tolerate it.
