You use a Russian source for your news?

gearl Level 8 Dec 30, 2018

The source is a Wall Street analyst by the name of Charles Ortel. Sputnik is merely the publisher. I'm sure that the house records will also identify what is reported but of course if you have cognitive dissonance over all matters Clinton you will never accept what is being said any more than rabid xtians accept that their church pay taxes to contribute to society.

@FrayedBear no the source is Sputnik and nowhere with an ounce of credibility has anything like it.

@FrayedBear Here is an article on Sputnik by the Washington Times explaining its purpose:

[washingtontimes.com] :

"By Marc Bennetts - Special to The Washington Times - - Sunday, November 16, 2014

MOSCOW — The Kremlin this month unveiled its latest weapon to combat the West’s “information war” on President Vladimir Putin with the launch of Sputnik — a lavishly funded, international media outlet whose advent heralds a silencing of dissent and criticism in Russia.

Named after the Soviet satellite that spooked Western powers when it became the first man-made object to leave the Earth’s atmosphere in 1957, state-run Sputnik plans to open newsrooms in more than 30 capitals, including Washington. Other offices will open in Beijing and Cairo, as well as in former Soviet republics.

Headed by Dmitry Kiselyov, a virulently anti-Western TV anchor who says the role of Kremlin-run media is to “love Russia,” Sputnik replaces the widely respected RIA Novosti state news agency, which was “liquidated” late last year on the orders of Mr. Putin. It also incorporates the Voice of Russia radio station.

Speaking to journalists last week, Mr. Kiselyov, 60, said Sputnik is aimed at an international audience “tired of aggressive propaganda promoting a unipolar world and who want a different perspective.”

Sputnik’s launch comes just weeks after Kremlin administration chief Sergei Ivanov said Russia and Mr. Putin were victims of an international smear campaign.

“There is an information war,” Mr. Ivanov told academics and journalists in late October. “Facts are misrepresented, while white is called black and vice versa. There have been multiple statements, some of which have simply been lies.” "

The article you site in Sputnik was written by Ekaterina Blinova with only a quote by Charles Ortel, a guy with apparently only one goal in life, to bring down the Clintons.

I really believe if there is anybody here that has cognitive dissonance it's you, over all matters Trump and all matters Clinton for that matter. It would appear that you still maintain a religious mind set trading religion for the tribalism of Trumpism.

@gearl Thank you for this very informative four year old article.
If I exchanged the words Trump and America for Ivanov and Russia I am sure that you will be able to locate the same article with very little change in thrust.
And of course American policy never had anything to do with the overthrow of many democratically elected governments around the world or in the deaths of many innocent people so that you citizens of the USA could benefit from the extortion and piracy of your nation? ... Weapons of mass destruction, Gadafi, Pinochet, West Papua, ... All delightful examples of US lies and distortion of the news. You guys wrote the book and some of you don't like others outing you for it.

Sputnik is the Russian English language version of infowars

The source is a Wall Street analyst by the name of Charles Ortel. Sputnik is merely the publisher. @FrayedBear the thing is, the site choosen can instantly taint the info your trying to show.
places like msn or fox put such a spin on things they make it hard to be open to the message.
Its like trying to show someone your new precious stone while its covered in shit.

Unless you just looking for people to reject things to some how "prove " people don't listen, you would be better off using the original source.. or finding a more centrist source that doesn't spin things as much.

@hippydog I hear you however those that have cognitive dissonance will not accept the information no matter what the source. It is simply a form of "give them enough rope and they will hang them self or me". ATM I don't care!

@FrayedBear so whats the goal then?

@hippydog let's see if anyone has the time to do further research, to make cogent opinion on the subject not avoid it by hiding behind unproven belief due to sourcing. As I always point out "a broken 12 hour clock tells the correct time twice a day".
