Fun introspective.
American Beer isn't garbage. (Hear me out)
If you have had Classic: American Beer, Japanese Beer, and Chinese Beer you would notice a strong similarity in the taste compositions. It is because they were all started by German brewers over 100 years ago. They remained mostly unchanged while the German beers have gone on to change.

So if you don't care for Budweiser Or the likes it isn't American Beer you don't like but classic German beer.

Craft beers are uniquely American and if you don't like those then you don't like American Beer.

True, I spent 3 yrs in Germany & the beer is mostly lagers, similar to the US.
I much prefer the great craft beers in the US & canada, especially the hoppy IPAs.

don't you just hate beer snobs! After all its beer! Just charge large price for it and you get beer snobs buying it, Price for the common man and you get the real beer drinker.

Nothing snobbish about it Ben. We just like the taste of good beer. Could the miller in your name maybe be a connection with the company that produces that watery rubbish called Miller lite.?

Only American beers that are worthwhile are the craft beers.

I don't mind a Miller light as a thirst quencher when I'm tapering off.

America has some great craft beers as has Scotland. Brewdog from Aberdeenshire have recently built a brewery in Ohio. The mass produced beers like Coors and Budweiser are garbage.
