I heard a wonderful story about chickens responding to food by Dawkins, gotta love him, they stopped the bell and food release and each chichen tried a move they thought will get the food, bobbing their head, moving to a corner, clucking, etc, he likened it to the multitude of religious rites performed by humans, very thought provoking.
