OK, as I continue to read suggestions of various ‘Netflix’ series to bingewatch (and appreciate them) …though can rarely find enough substance to feel their worth the time … about 3 weeks ago I found the following on Youtube -- and was instantly hooked:

Meet Andrew Camarata, a last name I’ve yet to hear him pronounce, other than - “It’s got a lotta A’s.” This may be a guy’s thing ..lots of digging, heavy equipment, tools - even a steel ‘container castle’ - but there’s so much more.. He’s got dogs, old computers, a boat, snow mobiles, jet skies, off-roading toys … and occasionally a walk on by his Dad or Girlfriend..

But what I like best is his attitude ~ Even tempered, refreshingly honest, energetic … and at 33 years, someone I’m learning from; an excellent teacher.

He films in 4K, with about every video ending with a drone flyby & overlook of ‘the completed project.’ Stops to checkout the things any curious person would ‘want to know’ … production quality, music and high-speed editing are perfect. From what ‘clues’ I’ve gotten, he lives & works in the Hudson Valley, near Woodstock NY..

Favorites..? Installing the new radio in his pickup (watch for the chainsaw). Building of ‘the bridge.’ His ‘new door & entry way’.. ‘Levi’s 12th birthday’ (and puppy footage), and his chainsaw & computer collection (he throws away nothing). ...not sure of his philosophy, more a realist, or teacher than a preacher. And unlike so many of the loudmouth Youtube ‘personalities’ using it as a platform for attention, Andrew is sharing his life and passions. Real stuff ~

Why did you make me click on this, I have shit to do and now I'm stuck binging!! FML.

I know! The first one I watched was ‘some guy’ dozing a driveway off a main highway … but it's the ‘down to earth’ methods and amazing stuff he’s done that adds so much more. And - the filming … I’ve been assuming.. as we watch his dump truck heading down the road, he’s also piloting that drone! I’ve not been pulled into any series of anything that fast and this through..

i enjoyed american ripper (history channel - not netflix) it's an exploration that serial killer H.H. Holmes could have been the true identity of Jack the Ripper.

This Camarata looks interesting. I will check him out.

YouTube is your friend and is my go too Internet site for just about anything you could possibly want for entertainment and information.

I am loving it! I’d never had ‘unlimited high-speed’ internet service until 2 years ago; deep in the woods of Oregon ‘capitalism’ was not providing service for we rural residents.. Now, including a new TV that does 4K, I’m about to drop Netflix.

@Varn I dropped my cable and satellite several years age and now rarely even watch OTA TV. One can watch most any cable, satellite, OTA TV programs on the internet.
If you are not aware of Kodi, watch some YouTube vids to acquaint yourself with it.

What a cool guy! Reminded me of that guy who builds log cabins in the middle of forests from scratch. Thanks for sharing!
