"If I were not an atheist, I would believe in a God who would choose to save people on the basis of the totality of their lives and not the pattern of their words. I think he would prefer an honest and righteous atheist to a TV preacher whose every word is God, God, God, and whose every deed is foul, foul, foul." Isaac Asimov

How about a fowl god? I'm starting a new religion, sorry I'll have to leave: a giant female bird laying little egg souls to be implanted in humans and other creatures by alien lizard angels. The purpose of people is to rise up, multiply, and destroy the planet and all life so the bird god has a need to lay more eggs. Or not.

Like every other god, that god does not exist either.
