It got up to 60f (16c) Saturday. It was a good day to take in a walking tour of Helen, GA, in the north Georgia mountains. It's a tourist trap town that pretends to be located in the German alps.

The restaurants serve the best wurst.

I went for a sack of stone ground yellow grits because I'm a grits snob but as long as Helen is on the Georgia wine trail . . . Petunia came along because of all the gift shops and she wanted an hour long drive in the mountains. Besides, we were invited to the teddy bear picnic.

Sounds like you had a lovely time.

I want to try their Mari Gras and Oktoberfest.

In New Orleans, it is the custom of young women to bare their breasts at those who toss them Mari Gras beads. I don't know how that works in Helen but I'm decorating my neck heavily with beads to find out. I've been to plenty of Mari Gras parades along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. I have far, far too many beads.

@WonderWartHog99 Why of why is it always the women who have to bear some part of their bodies. Why can't us women throw beads at men in the Mardi Gras and men take their pants off? Life stink sometimes.
