Nobody. Abolish all monarchies and send the entire concept back to the Dark Ages where it belongs.

I suppose Meghan as queen would be alright. Having a divorced American feminist with African-American ancestry in the royal family really pissed off a lot of Daily Mail readers and similar single-brain-celled organisms; if she was on the throne they might all explode in sheer fury and actually die.
Charles, but he should immediately state that after a year and a day he will pass it on to William. The public would eat that up.

I would love to see Prince Charles be king even if it is a short time...I always found him to be quite interesting and very intelligent...I liked Princess Di, but felt she was not the right person for him or he for her...I think he married beneath his societal role and mental acuity...they were different kinds of "smart" 
...
I do like both Prince William and Prince Harry...someday, William will be king...that is, if the monarchy survives...
