Just had a flat shard shaped kidney stone about three by two millimeters.... might be painful for someone with more feeling down there but not me, to be honest I am concerned as I've been told all my life they were nightmarishly painful and am stuck between being disappointed while feeling I was gullible and feeling concerned that perhaps I have too little feeling down there. Curious, anyone here think that kidney stones are less nuisance than a shot in the arm?

Some people find kidney stones painful some don’t. It’s all relative to the person and has nothing to do with the sensation of your wiener.

The discomfort is typically felt in the flanks and occurs from the ‘stone’ having to move through the smooth muscle of your ureter.

After it moves into the bladder you may or may not have pain in your urethra but that’s short lived comparatively.

My ex's just sits there quietly in his kidney & keeps to itself. They found it by accident during an ultrasound. Did you know that men get kidney stones a lot more often than women? It's because they don't drink as much. After we ladies have had a few bladder infections we know we need to drink plenty to keep things flushed out! It just becomes habit.

Hmmmm. I’m 52 and have never had a bladder infection. Or kidney stones for that matter. I think diet and exercise habits have a huge bearing on these things.
