I can't watch it alone. I watched the first 6 seasons with my former boyfriend, but haven't watched the last season yet. Might have to consider getting back together for a day or two to binge watch a season or two in the really distant future. Um no. Bad idea. May never see the end seasons, unless I bolster the courage to watch it alone. I'm not used to the shocking, scary, gruesomeness but the entirety of the story is a good one.

To bad you live in Hawaii. I'd live to be able to have someone to cuddle with and watch tv. My limited friends don't like the same type of shows. That and they're all guys, so that's why it really wouldn't work either.
I have all s1, through s7, and did a marathon this last week with a friend who only saw up to s5.
S8 is supposed to start in April, so you have some time to catch up.
you are in for a ride.
