Has anyone here seen Bandersnatch on Netflix? It was really well done and the first interactive movie I've seen. I really think this is the future of a new wave of entertainment - elaborate and sophisticated interactive movies that have well developed plot lines for each choice you make. Let me know what you think.

I felt the exact same way! How could this NOT be rhe future of tv!?! I expect the concept of how it was done is more familiar, thus perhaps less striking, to videogamers... but I don't play, so it was the first experience like this since the proper choose your own adventure books of the 80's. When AI rendered movies are as realistic as live action, I can't imagine this type of thing not being 90% of netflix content. And...Black mirror...creating the future instead of warning of it!!... meta, indeed! Plus, it was expertly done, utilizing the novelty of it, with the meta aspects in dialogue, etc... man, that was cool!! (I will say, my choices initially made a movie I really didn't like (got a little violent)... but still mind blown. And so i started it again (after making it all the way) and got about halfway through again to be able to understand how they did it. Mindblown.

I wasn’t impressed. It really wasn’t all that interactive. My daughter did like it , though.

I meticulously watched every possible path in the video. I don't think that this type of video will become the norm. Once A.I. has progressed to the point where video can be instantaneously generated in response to viewers' feedback, then interactive video might possibly have esoteric appeal to a significant number of viewers.

It wasn't really interactive you know

Yes it was.

@DeStijl Nope

The outcome seemed to be pretty much the same no matter what.

Except for one where he chose to go with his mom on the train.

That one was the most satisfying ending to me.
