Me! I know very little but I'd like to learn more. I'd love to be able to recognize more constellations and know which are visible at which times of year, the mythology behind them, the history of astronomy across cultures. What draws you to astronomy? What aspects are you most interested in?

Just vastness and the 'unknown' draws me to it. I love thinking about the universe and talking about all of the what ifs. I am more particularly into planetary stuff. I love seeing planets and has pushed me get into telescope making and want to see planets closer and brighter!

Here πŸ™‚ though I haven't done enough to cultivate this hobby.

So much fun tho... Just looking out there in the night, feeling small haha

I love the cosmos, should know far more than I do. I have my Google Sky Map App to help out. I get such a thrill out of taking photos of the moon and seeing the relief of the moonscape.

I've always wanted to get into astrophotography. I need to get some more equipment for that. Got any photos?

I have a few scopes, and books and charts and apps, but really only know constellations. A few individual stars.

Someone gave me a Volunteer Star once. I got a card and a pin. It’s got my star’s number on it. And says my star has been logged in the star ownership log thingy. πŸ˜‰

What kind of scopes you got? I got 6" F8 reflector and 3" F10

I have one from the late 1800s on a stand, from my great grandmother. About the size of a microscope. And one I got out of a trash bin. So...I don’t know. πŸ˜‰@tjj572
