Mitch McConnell backs Trump all the way. McConnell is dodging this just like he dodged the ACA uproar. When people in Ky try to call his office to leave an opinion they just stop taking calls. "This mailbox is full". Never fails.

45 does not care and apparently many members of the gop controlled Senate don't care. A bill has bee suggested, in fact there was one b4 the shut down. trump could veto but it could be over turned if enough gop members in the senated would vote to over ride trump's veto.
So right now it is ALL on the gop controlled Senate.

I keep calling McConnells office but he's MIA and his office isn't even taking messages.Coward.

45 doesn't care.
This is ALL about his ego.
He wants his little vanity project, and he doesn't care who he has to harm
to get it.

If enough members of the gop controlled senate voted to over ride trump's veto of any bill to fund government and reopen that does not fund the wall is put forth by the Congress we could be back open. It ain't all on trump now. The Senate is controlled by the gop and they do not care that people are hurting, hungry and scared.

@silverotter11 That's just it, isn't it? The republicans are STILL supporting 45, his lies, and his whims. The GOP controlled Senate could end this thing tomorrow, but they won't. They don't want to.

@KKGator EXACTLY!! I wish people would pay more attention to the actions of their elected officials and not the lying words spewing out of their mouths.

@KKGator, @silverotter , Like looking at their voting records. It's public knowledge. Most people can't be bothered to think for themselves.

@freeofgod You are so right!! Far too many people are just too damned lazy to do any kind research for themselves.
I have no respect for those people. I have nothing but contempt for those people.
