The Mexican Cession consisted of present-day U.S. states of California, Nevada, Utah, most of Arizona, about half of New Mexico, about a quarter of Colorado, and a small section of Wyoming.

This is true. America is by far the largest consumer of illegal drugs. If they stopped consuming there would be no need all these drugs that cause so many problems.

Tens of thousands of people go to Mexico from America for vacation and medical treatments.
It’s beautiful and the people are lovely.
@Green_eyes I know. my wife of 50 years was Mexican. The meme was someone's idea of humor.
@Green_eyes One of the best vacations I ever had was in Mexico...I loved the food and the people...laughing, dancing, singing...the first arts and crafts swap I was ever in was a I Love Mexico one in 2006...can't believe how much has changed since then...
@thinktwice being in Texas, it’s a quick weekend trip. I’ve been at least a dozen times. It’s such a shame.
@Green_eyes When I lived in Texas, my dad would take us over the weekend to buy candy and toys...to help us learn Spanish...it was a wonderful part of my childhood...

@Green_eyes Didn't the Mexicans help Houston after the hurricane? I recall that many came to clear debris and do what they could...they are indeed our brothers and sisters in the south
@thinktwice I’m not quite sure. If you notice Texas Politicians don’t push the wall bit. As you are aware hispanic culture is deeply woven into every aspect of Texas life.
@Green_eyes I know...I just read an insightful article on how many that do daily business with the Mexicans are not happy about the wall...the tourism trade is being impacted as well as just daily interactions...I remember going to Corpus and swimming with families that were vacationing from Mexico...people just want to enjoy the same things...
