It is illegal for them to strike. Civilians can strike but they cannot. Remember what happened to the air traffic controllers during the Reagan administration. They all got fired and the leaders were prosecuted. That law passed during the Carter administration. Certain entities are considered to be a matter of national security and economic necessities to the continuity of the welfare of the United States.

I am avoiding all air travel for a while...I remember the last air controller strike...it was not pretty...but the airplanes continued to land and take off...it is all computerized now...I doubt it would make any impact on the petulant childish douchebag...
