When I read this:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void ; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light : and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good : and God divided the light from the darkness.

I thought, Hmm, who the hell was there to witness all this and how come they could hear him and who was god talking to, … himself???...

I'm kind of dyslexic. So I see 'Dog', instead of 'God'. But it all actually makes entertaining reading, if you substitute 'Dog' for 'God'.

Bingo. Don't ask questions - you silly wabbit... Just drink the koolaid.

@RichieO You do realize I was kidding you..... 🙂 😉 The questions you asked were spot on. We should all be asking more questions....and not taking "because I said so" as the answer.

@RichieO Me either! I was born with a purse in one hand and wearing 4 inch stilettos. (and, yes, it was a very painful delivery)

Typical answer: the angels were there as witnesses.

These are some very good points indeed! Keep in mind that god and Moses were best friends and god wrote a book called "How I Did It" which Moses had read.

@RichieO well, yeah, how else would it have been described?

@RichieO Moses wrote it all later after he had read god's book. Then Moses wrote some books and decided to speak for god.
