After I left my family home, following the break up of my marriage, I was briefly homeless. It scared me to death. Almost literally. I have my Dad to thank, who helped me rent my current home. Having had a mortgage since I was 19, being in rental property seems a bit of a backward step, but here it is. My house is clean, modern and plenty of room. Unfortunately the little estate is sandwiched between two very rough parts of my little town. I would like to buy another house. My old house isn't on the market, the house in Arizona isn't either and that has all been complicated by the death of my father-in-law (my ex's Dad). Its all such a bloody big fat mess. Anyway my partner and I are going to look at a house today, for us. Can you imagine? My age and starting again. Just another turn on the big blue ride. Wish me luck
