Snow on window panes

Wow have not seen frost ferns for years, they alway were on the windows when I was a child, but double glazing put an end to them.As a child the bedrooms in the old house used to get so cold that you would try to get dressed in bed, and then when you had to get your feet out you would try to bury them in the fur rug as fast as possible while you found your socks. It was fox fur my father skinned and cured, and I still remember just how soft and warm it felt.

Love it. Current housing is so well sealed & energy efficient Jack Frost is challenged to find galleries exhibiting the art. The window in the dog door is wear he creates in our home. Tells me it really frosty outside.
