Its snowing. Why are boys so good at maintaining internal temps? I have two sons, an ex (who is from Arizona) and my current partner, who will gladly walk round in t-shirts. I remember being freezing in July in AZ.....brrrrr

You got my sympathy, I have severe raynauds syndrome. I get frost bite in a heat wave. I start to sweat, my hands get dmp and movement through the air chills them to the point the blood in my fingers shuts off. I was born in Thurso, almost as far north you can go on the mainland. Go figure, LOL

Yikes

Are you kidding? My late partner was always too hot and turned the thermometer down. In the middle of the night she would have a hot flash and off would go the blanket. I think this is common especially as women age.

Hot flushes do happen in menopause as the hypothalmus decides to mess with women's bodies. I think my body didn't get the memo. I am virtually always cold. The hot flushes (as we say in UK) have been rather pathetic and at times welcome, especially when my car's heating is too slow.

I'm always warm. And this happened well before peri-menopause. Now I'm like a little wood stove. Or maybe something from CERN? I"m just not sure....

Speak for yourself. I turn blue after ten minutes swimming in the Indian Ocean, less than 100 miles fro the equator.

When married, I always knew you had to be careful in bed at night, because if you were sharing it with a woman you always knew that if you reached out there was likely to be a cold shock, since there were bound to be two ice cold feet, two ice cold hands, but worst of all two ice cold buttocks in bed with you.

I'm wearing two heavy wool sweaters to work today, gloves, and a coat. One of my sweaters is thigh length.

I am wearing vest, thick jumper (long tunic just above my knees) thick trews, socks, slippers and thick fluffy hoodie. Heating is on full blast and fire is on. Its FREEZING!!!!
