I’ll say that I have challenged many of Christians, Jews, Muslims and even Hindu’s to prove to me that their faiths put the needs of all humans above the needs of their deity/s.

Many have argued and debated but when I ask why their places of worship within the poorest are meek but focused on the surrounding community.
Whereas those in prominent neighborhoods are grandiose and their focus is mostly on themselves.

I’m just saying that I have more respect for a religious person if they give of themselves like their faiths supposedly ask them to do.

While I do greatly admire MLK, I will throw out MY take.
I would rather a man be an uncommitted humanist than a committed christian*.

*Whatever a committed christian even means.
