As many of you know, I attend physical therapy to help with recovering from my four spinal surgeries in 2018. The progress has been really good since I started going to this most recent physical therapist back in November.
My usual Physical Therapist and I have conversations and talk about our dating lives, as well as catching each other up on life events. There's a pretty nice and warm ebb and flow in our interactions and shares. Bonus: great personality, funny, very cute, and she gives great massages.
This morning we saw each other for the first time in three weeks (holidays and she's already booked). I asked a few probing questions and at the end of the session I asked her out for lunch or bowling. She smiled and eagerly said that would be great.
I'm feeling a little high right now. She's 31 and knows my age (although she originally told me she thought I was in my mid-thirties, haha).
Sometimes a moment can happen right where you don't expect it.
I know some professionals cannot date their patients, I hope this isn't one of them. If your social relationship with this young woman takes a dive will she still be able to be your Physical Therapist? I hope it works well for you, just be careful.
Absolutely. I've had that on my mind for a while. From my interpretation, IF it becomes serious, I'll have to change which therapist can work with me.
