I know that American culture has been greatly influenced by native Americans. It is so ingrained that few of us ever think about it. A very high percentage of Americans have at least a little bit of native ancestry, and most are not aware of that fact.
I look forward to watching the documentary later.

That is a stirring documentary. I will have to watch it over and over to get to the essence. There are so many layer. U thought the blues was the origin story of rock, but no, there is another layer that was totally hidden to this foreign woman. i am stunned. that you for posting this.

Yes. We here in the USA are discovering much history that has been omitted due to our Euro centric bias.
