I live within a hundred yards of lake Erie the air is the air what can be done ? but I will stay away from Winnipeg ?

My family is in Winnipeg. Not altogether unusual weather for them this time of year. -36 celcius. Winnipeg has some of Canada’s coldest winters and hottest summers.
@Green_eyes that isnt habitable imo.
@Bigwavedave you’d be surprised. I remember only one day in my whole life school ever closing. That was after a massive blizzard. When it’s super cold in the -40’s it’s too cold to even snow. It’s a dry cold and the homes are built for it.
