Can you be a FreeThinker and still refer to polls? I don't think so. After all, the same question asked of two different groups will reveal different results. And most importantly, the pollsters are usually not FreeThinkers and are biased people influenced by the media.

Sounds like anti-science bias to me. A well-done poll reveals a lot of good information. See example: the polls at pewresearch.org

Everyone, is biased! Certain sections of this country have a specific mind-set, you might add them all together and come up with some other number...even then it want be perfect! I see it as a general number!

Seems to me that the definition of what a "free-thinker" is, is highly subjective.
Based what you seem to think it means, if others don't do what you think they should do, they can't be "free-thinkers".

To me, being a "free-thinker" means one is free to think whatever the fuck they please. I also don't have to agree with them on anything they think.
I'm free to think whatever I please.

And this is why I enjoy your comments ???

I would think that by definition most free thinkers would be sceptical of polls, but I do not see how using information gathered through polling has any relevance to one’s status as a “Free Thinker”
If you form all of your opinions based on what others think you are definetly not a Free Thinker
I consider myself a Free Thinker, but I used the polling data from my riding during the last election in a bid to vote strategically and try and keep the conservative candidate out of office
