We're sold on ideas that there's a solution in developments like GMOs and artificial meats that grow in a lab rather than graze and fart their way through ten time as much food as they produce. And there can be no doubt that science like this has already slowed the onset of this crisis and may continue to do so. But to look at another side of the problem we turn to an economist.
