What's sunshine?

My Daffodils were up about two inches here in Pennsylvania before the deep freeze hit. I hope it didn’t hurt them. The snow cover may have helped.

I think that Punxsutawney Varmint saw what was necessary to assure an early spring! Felt it on the Blue Ridge yesterday ...till the sun went down..

I love the Wichita Mountains. We came down last September and hiked one of the trails. I must be getting senile because I can't tell you which one. Most of my teenage years were spent there. Way before Bluetooth, we would get about 10 cars together and drive up on Mount Scott. All the cars but one would turn on the radio to the same station and we would dance. The extra car was used to jump the cars that killed their battery. Every Lake out there was okay to swim in then.

It’s been beautiful in SW Oklahoma. It was 74 degrees yesterday and I went hiking at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge (and I wore shorts!)

We had lots of sunny days in the 50s all through January. A few dandelions are already blooming!
