A couple weeks ago an agnostic atheist group from Oregon posted a contest solicitation for a grant here for ideas about curing ending alleviating homeless problems they face. Guess who is in the running and maybe in Oregon in the near future? Me. Planning on an all woman crew to kick it off. Stay tuned.

They are agnostics and atheists that want to highlight their/our altruism so expect video's of the progress.

Looking forward to it.

That is awesome!!!! I would grab my tool belt and hammer! Seriously...I have worked on Habitat for Humanity houses...and I am strong...are you taking applications?

Tell us more about the contest!!!

They are going to issue a grant to the person that offers up the best idea to cure their homeless problem. So one of them called me this morning and asked questions and got a fuller explanation of the work I've done for years and liked it even more and asked if some other folks could call me. I said sure. One is a woman that teaches women, some homeless, the residential trades so I said I'll talk to her first. I'll use the grant money to buy the ones that sign on tools, work boots etc. Winner will be announced in March.

There is no application to fill out. In my companies, I've never required CV's or resumes or even past histories. The challenge is will you do this work? If so, ill help you. See you at 7

@Anonbene Oh--I misunderstood...I thought you were getting a crew to help build houses for the homeless...I was volunteering for your work crew...but teaching homeless women the trades is even better! Still sounds like a great project...I have my own tools and boots... 🙂 Pretty cool...
