Its raining trees in Michigan! These are just what I can see from my yard. I think one fell on somebody's car down the road. I was hearing swearing.

@mzbehavin I'm in process of moving to Gladstone. Diggin it so far. Kansas City people like their food and their live music.
So sad. We had some icing but little or no tree damage.

Most of the fallen trees are ones that were damaged anyway or dead branches. I think this will be my inspiration to find a way to get rid of the sketchy willow and possibly some others before I end up having to clear them off the road one day.
That's a lot of ice on everything. Glad I'm down south!!

Your last photo of curvy, ice-covered branches is beautiful.
Growing up in Michigan, ice storms were gorgeous. Every tiny branch was covered in a sheath of ice. When the sun came out, the world sparked like diamonds!
At age 21, I moved to Washington State to climb mountains and stayed.
Using micro-spikes for traction, I love winter hiking.

Those are my beloved, Lowa hiking boots.
Mt. Rainier is behind me in the 2nd photo. Mouthing off, as usual.
I had removed my micro-spikes, as this section of the trail was rocky. Climbing Mt. Fremont, WA.
