Republicans want there hands in everything, because there greedy and stupid.

And they got under the recent shutdown. How did that work for them and everybody else???

They sure as hell do not want a smaller military, and in fact, we may as well consider the military the government, given the huge amount of our tax dollars that end up there. So in fact, they want larger government, more control. Unfortunately, the democrats are not much better, if at all.

Yes...well....smaller laws in SOME areas. BUT...mandating religion in public schools, enacting control over women's bodies/fertility, suppression of people's abilities to rise above their financial situation...well.

Exactly...lack of government oversight (bigger government) is what caused the big banking failure from which we have never fully recovered.
