Reletively new to the site I'm 65 an have been reading some of the posts an have been given a lot of prospectives especially on love an relationships, don't think about it in the same way i thought of it 10yrs ago.Things have changed some good some not but I'm surviving I have been a widower since 2002 which has been a challenge but surviving, thanks to my cat companions snow an cleo,as the saying goes "Happiness is warm puppy, or in my case two kittens".
Losing a spouse, turns your World upside down, suddenly there's no one to talk to,to help solve problems,to take care of bills that might result in overcharges on bank accounts, or shutting off of utilities. I lost my late wife of 27 years in Sept,2017. So come this Sept it will be two years, she smoked, and passed away from aggressive lung cancer, whenever I see a smoker now,I resist the urge to take from their mouth......
Good to see you here. Also a cat person.
Welcome to you, hope you are feeling at home with us. There are plenty of groups to join, and am glad you have been given some food for thought by reading the various posts, feel free to add your voice to them by making replies. I too have been widowed...since 2010, and have two cats...Oscar and Willow, it’s always nice to say hello to a fellow cat lover.
It's good to have you with us
