I haven't been active for 9 months or so. Been having a crazy time with life. Depression seems to be getting better after some new medication and lifestyle changes. My #1 university choice accepted me so I have been cramming to maintain my high grades (not so great). Also working on getting a book published! Had some requests to see the manuscript so I'm excited! Been babysitting my niece lots, she just turned 1 and had a blast smashing her cake to pieces.
So what's up with your lives? Hope you're doing well

I'm glad that things are looking better. As a fellow Depression sufferer myself, I understand the struggle. I've found that my depression goes away when I'm drunk, but that is NOT the way to cope, and so I had to stop that before it destroyed my life. I still joke about it though, but that's because it helps me with some of those issues.

Congrats on school... and good luck on your studies. I hope you have a good support system to help you through it.

I’m sorry for your troubles; depression is tough. Congrats on the school and book though that’s so badass!

Welcome home! =] Can you share more about your book?

It's a dark fantasy about Celtic mythology. Taking place in Ireland. Sort of like Harry Potter except not exactly for kids

@Catnublia Very cool! Thanks for sharing. =]

Welcome back. Best with college. Depression is a chore and just know you have support. Many have been there and there are no easy answers. You can also, at no cost have Amazon publish your book and put it in their market including kindle. Beware the publish ads. If it is a reputable company thst will publish and advertise they charge nothing. Amazon is free, but does not advertise.

Thanks for the advice

@Catnublia S E Hinton published her first novel in 11th grade, while, ironically, failing English class. After having taught writing, living creative writing I am finally publishing my first novel. I'm not fighting for acclaim, so I am just doing Amazon for my own self being. Local coffee shop is offering to put it out. Goid luck. And much success.
