I am NOT a Trump fan, but did we forget Obama also said that we must complete the wall at one point? EVERYONE knows that it is not a complete failsafe solution that will 0% all illicit travel and commerce! OF course we know this, Do you leave your house unlocked becuase a determined individual can get in anyway, and will likely cause more expensive damage if you do NOT lock it??

While EVERYONE knows that EVERYONE knows a wall cannot ever stop ALL illegal immigration or other undesirable effects, It would OBVIOUSLY make it MUCH easier to manage. People have fences around their house. Should they just not bother because it is possible to get to their property anyway?? Sometimes people get into the habit of making dumb arguments because the people they talk to WANT to accept the argument because of how it makes them feel, so they fail to subject these stupid arguments to any real critical thinking. Such people might try to learn to play chess.
