The violence that happened in Charlottesville was not exactly America’s finest hour, and Trump’s response to that was not exactly Trump’s finest hour either. Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I was there on the opposing side of both aka a peacekeeper and yes those from the right were extremely appalling and it fucking killed me when I saw so called vets walking around with swastikas and spitting fucking ignorance and hatred.
But on the flip side there was just as many on the other side who were being equally as ignorant.
Telling white dudes to go get on the other side and shit.
We prevented a lot of potential skirmishes but we learned seriously that this country needs to have a real fucking talk about itself.
And I say this because I’ve personally have had talks with people from both sides and they’ very very ignorant about each other. But it doesn’t help when our leaders as well as the media constantly pit us against each for their validation.
But anyway we took what we learned from there and called the Tennessee group that was coming to Richmond a couple of months later and we told them point blank that they kill each other in Richmond on a daily basis and that us and the police would only be to control but so much.
Needless to say it was a small and peaceful event they did their thing and Richmond’s community leaders did theirs and then they left.

@johnprytz It’s spotty some ares still have a ton mainly Mississippi, Alabama as well as Louisiana , and the mining areas of Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia and Kentucky but those areas are what they are.
So we tell people to stay out of those areas unless they have to be there because there’s no dialogue with them.
Other than that we’ve really haven’t had to do much in this area because nobody is allowing any of these groups in.
so this is heading into the past but there’s still a lot of talking that needs to be done with everyone involved.
I believe the extreme right will do anything for a headline. They call many of us "snowflakes" because our ideas are all so much different. No two alike. That title of "snowflake" doesn't bother me much at all. We should have ideas. The real snowflake comes out in viewing all these headlines you have collected. The alt right is the "snowflake."
