For those of you in or near Philly looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Philadelphia Tattoo convention is in town. I have no tattoos but have always been fascinated by them, from the old-school sailors I saw as a boy to women in New Guinea with their faces elaborately covered to today's millennial madness. This show is large (it is held in the main convention center in center city) and a wonderful way to see a sub-culture in all its glory.
