After catching him with another (not sex, but very physical/cozy), he chose to spend the summer with mommy, rather than staying in our college town where he had both a job and an apartment leased. I saw that as an immature choice and one that screamed volumes about where I stood with him. It killed any spark left. I broke it off. He had not seen it coming!
I am glad to have not forced an ultimatum. The next year, his mom got sick and passed suddenly from cancer after a shockingly short two week battle. I'll always be glad that he spent the prior summer with her. He could have hated me if I had interfered with that.

Latest one -- He asked me for a boob picture -- I'm three days into ghosting him....
Another one -- refused to get hearing aids...and then went 10th level ranting angry when HE misunderstood something I said over the phone because HE didn't hear me correctly. After he hurled insults at me and my family??? I realized that he was also bat shit crazy. That one was last month. I wrote him a text telling him he was crazy and that he needed to get over his arrogance and pride and get hearing aids....and to seek therapy. Then I blocked him
