Yes, I do. I get involved in a book, and somehow one of the cats has gotten onto my lap, and so obviously I am stuck there and have to keep reading... it is wonderful!

I often read at bedtime, and discover it is now way, way past my bedtime.

Particularly when I learn something new. Even some novels can lead me to new insights. Pratchett‘s novels all give me pause for thought, even on the 20-somethingth reading.

Yes..especially my quantum physics books..or paleoarcheology/anthropology..cosmology..

Yes one can lose yourself for hours and then reality comes back . Oh well one can't have everything.
