"Revolution is the opium of the intellectuals"

Thoughtful and very well expressed. Lonliness is overlooked by many counselors

Great! In that case there’s no need to raise an army to create your revolution. Just let things evolve.

Perpetual process it is.

Oh Lord have mercy. He must have been a commie!

Why? Because he was for revolution?
The founding fathers of America were revolutionairies too but were not commies. Isn't the American revolution a continuing process?

I'm sure you're right. I was just being silly.

@creative51 Ah but, but, but. It's a bit semantical, if that's a word. Revolutions always have great aspirations and then end up with power just changing hands.

@creative51 Maybe you're right. Maybe there are real revolutions as well as .... well, whatever we might call them. I was thinking as far back as the French Revolution and all that brotherhood and fraternity didn't amount to much in the end.

@creative51 that's the truth. They got rid of a king and elected a dictator. Except he was called emporer.

@brentan That;s what revolution is, the bottom revolves to the top and the top down to the bottom.. And those at the top begin to act like those at the top and those at the bottom acting like those from the bottom, until it all revolves again.
