Beautiful ! Years ago I traveled to Brisbane three times on business - but didn’t much time to relax or explore. Would love to go back and spend some time in Australia - for fun, not work.

Very nice!

Where I had my honeymoon almost exactly 15 years ago. Rainbow lorikeets and eastern grey kangaroos that'll eat from your hand, and a lovely little sheltered beach less than 100 yards away.

Stunning, looks like a paradise scene from the movies.

I hate you for making me look at these. Snow and ice for weeks here. And then i see this.

Don't worry that too will pass and it will be me whining about the cold.

@Jolanta Tha does not make me fell better. COLD is not something you ever really get.

@Jacar No you are wrong, it gets cold in Canberra, Australia. Sometimes in winter it gets to -10C.

@Jolanta . . . -10 Centigrade is not COLD. -30F is.

This week::: Our friends in Mary Knoll had to evacuate. The fire is within a few miles.

@Jacar You are right it is all relative.

That looks like a place where you will find all sorts of magic fungi...

Nah, dry sclerophyll forests are hopeless for funghi. For fun funghi, head up to the Lismore area and find a dairy farm. Golden tops (the native pscylocibe) are like liberty caps/blue meanies, but bloody massive in comparison! Caps are 2-3 inches across, 3-5 'shrooms is a good dose.
